Remember to Fill the Well

As creators, writers, and sharers of value (I think that’s all of us), it’s easy to get caught up in giving and, in the process, lose touch with the quality of what we’re giving, the source from which it comes.

When I first began creating, I felt overflowing with lived experience and perspectives to share. My primary focus was still on my own self-development, and sharing was a natural byproduct. But over time, priorities shifted. The act of sharing gained greater importance, overshadowing the source of inspiration. As a result, I’m now realizing the importance of refilling the well, of re-cultivating inspiration through a renewed dedication to my practices and to time spent exploring the world, especially as I have the opportunity to experience new environments.

I imagine our particular “well” may differ for each of us, but regardless of the field in which we serve, there’s value in attending to the source of our inspiration, because it is from those roots that the quality of our fruit is determined.

Wishing you renewed attention to your well (your roots).

Take care,
Naser
