Weekly Reflection: Is ______ oversaturated?

Do you think Monet, or Van Gogh, or Frida ever looked around and went, you know painting is too saturated. Too many people doing it. Too hard to stand out. Maybe. But they did stand out because of the big and small things they did different, and now we look at their artwork and reflect on their choices; the themes, color, composition, direction of paint strokes. It’s those details that set them apart, that made them great. That kind of talent takes time to craft and passion to endure. But if you have those two things, time and passion, then I’d say no it’s not too saturated. Not for you.
