Weekly Reflection: Are Morning routines a waste of time?
Are you better off just skipping your meditation, yoga, cold-plunge, journaling, and getting to work? Will you be more successful that way? Big-name social media entrepreneurs like Alex Hormozi seem to think so. Honestly, I don’t know. But I do know the impact of those other things is more qualitative than quantitative. Their impact is subjective. They affect the way you perceive yourself, and your life, and relationships, and goals. They alter how you are and who you are. They seem insignificant until you dedicate enough time and days to see their impact. Then you might just find that you’re happier, more focused, inspired, and that you perceive more opportunities where before you were solely focused on barriers. I don’t know what you or Alex or anyone else ought to do with their mornings or evenings, but I see the value in what I do, and my struggle when I miss those practices.
